Today’s story きょうの あらすじ

Yesterday I went out for a walk in the evening. Lately it has rained every day, and there had been one day after another when I could not go for my morning walk. When I happened to look out of the window and saw that the rain had stopped, I thought this was my chance and went to the park. As I was walking in my usual park, all the familiar faces I always see in the morning were there, running or walking. Everyone thinks the same way, it seems. The weather forecast had said the rain would go on for a while, so I suppose they all meant to get some exercise while it had stopped. Japan this year has had one typhoon after another, and the rainy days have gone on and on. I want a dry, clear autumn sky to come soon.
