Today, I had plans to go eat Korean food with a friend. The weather forecast said to watch out for rain because a typhoon was approaching, but it also said the typhoon's rain would only get heavy from the evening, so we went to Shin-Okubo, Tokyo's Koreatown, to have lunch before the typhoon arrived. This turned out to be exactly the right call. We were able to get into a popular Korean restaurant without waiting at all, where they say you have to wait even with a reservation. On top of that, after the meal we were also able to get into a popular, stylish Korean cafe without waiting, and we had a really fun time.
