Last year I wasn't feeling well, so I hardly went on any business trips. But little by little my health recovered, and from around this summer, my business trips started to increase. I often go back to my parents' house in Osaka, and even when I'm in Tokyo, I sometimes stay in hotels for work, so I'm spending less time at my own home. In August, I was at my home in Tokyo for about 10 days in total. In September I had no business trips, so I was able to recover my energy, but from October I got busy again. Last week I stayed away from home for two days for work, next week I have a business trip to Osaka, and from the end of the month I have an overseas business trip of more than two weeks. I come home tired, recover my energy, and go on a business trip again. That's the cycle I keep repeating. Every time I look at my calendar full of plans, I can't help thinking, "Ah, I'm going to get tired again." Until two or three years ago, I never got this tired, but now that I'm 55, I really feel that age and stamina go hand in hand.
