I adore pea shoots: eat them once, stand the roots in water, and they obligingly grow back. The second crop is thinner and marks the end, but watching it sprout a little more each day is half the fun.

きょうは、シャキシャキ感がたまらなく美味しい 「豆苗（とうみょう）」を 食べました。 スーパーで 買ってきた 豆苗は、一度 食べた 後も、根っこを 水に つけて 陽当たりの いい場所に 置いておくと、また 育ちます。 一度で 二度 楽しめるので、お財布にも 優しくて 嬉しい野菜です。

きょうは、しゃきしゃきかんがたまらなくおいしい 「とうみょう」を たべました。 すーぱーで かってきた とうみょうは、いちど たべた あとも、ねっこを みずに つけて ひあたりの いいばしょに おいておくと、また そだちます。 いちどで にど たのしめるので、おさいふにも やさしくて うれしいやさいです。 まいかいとうみょうをたべるたびにおもっていたんですが、にかいめに そだつ とうみょうは、かってきた ときよりも ほそくて よわよわしいんです。
