Tokyo declared its cherry blossoms open, so I changed my walking route for a morning of cherry patrol. The trees were not quite ready — but a field of tulips in every color filled my heart instead.

先週、東京でソメイヨシノの開花宣言がありました。 私の家の周りのソメイヨシノはまだほんの少し咲いているだけで、まだまだつぼみの花がほとんどです。 でも日当たりがいい場所なら咲いているかもと思って、今朝のウォーキングはいつもと違う方向にサクラパトロールに行きました。
