Today’s story きょうの あらすじ
Heading to an unfamiliar platform four floors underground, I found all three escalators running upward, packed with an endless line of rush-hour commuters. A woman in the crowd kindly pointed me to the down escalator without ever breaking the flow.

先日、はじめて 乗る 電車の ホームへ 向かっていた ときの ことです。その ホームは 地下4階に あって、エスカレーターを 乗り継いで 下っていたのですが、突然、目の 前の 3台の エスカレーターが 全部 上り方向に なっているのに 気づきました。下から 隙間なく、まるで 蟻の 行列のように 次から 次へと 人が 上がって くるんです。

せんじつ、はじめて のる でんしゃの ほーむへ むかっていた ときの ことです。その ほーむは ちかよんかいに あって、えすかれーたーを のりついで くだっていたのですが、とつぜん、めの まえの さんだいの えすかれーたーが ぜんぶ のぼりほうこうに なっているのに きづきました。したから すきまなく、まるで ありの ぎょうれつのように、つぎから つぎへと ひとが あがって くるんです。
