Fifteen years of annual trips to Thailand have trained my palate, and now I can tell truly good Thai food from the rest. A back street full of Thai grocers convinced me this new restaurant had to be good — and the pad thai proved me right.

今日は、お昼にタイ料理を食べました。初めて行くお店でしたが、とても美味しかったです。私は15年くらい前から毎年タイに行っていて、タイ料理のおいしさがよくわかるようになってきました。昔は本場のタイ料理を食べたことがなかったので、日本で食べるタイ料理はどれもおいしいと思っていました。

きょうは、おひるにたいりょうりをたべました。はじめていくおみせでしたが、とてもおいしかったです。わたしはじゅうごねんくらいまえからまいとしたいにいっていて、たいりょうりのおいしさがよくわかるようになってきました。むかしは、ほんばのたいりょうりをたべたことがなかったので、にほんでたべるたいりょうりはどれもおいしいとおもっていました。
