Today’s story きょうの あらすじ

My holiday in a country town in Thailand is over, and yesterday I moved on to Bangkok. From today, work begins. This morning, after I got up, I went to the hotel gym and walked for thirty-five minutes as I always do. In the Thai countryside I hardly ever take a train or walk anywhere, so I had been walking only about three thousand steps a day. In Tokyo I always try to walk ten thousand steps a day, so such a small number of steps made me think this was not good for my health. From today on I mean to walk properly every morning, just as I usually do.
