Today’s story きょうの あらすじ

This morning I have been carrying a heavy parcel since early on, and I am worn out. The parcel weighed a full ten kilos. Holding that heavy thing in my arms, I walked about eight minutes from my home to the post office. What was in the box were products of the company I work for. Before my business trip to Thailand last month, I had them sent from head office in case they should be needed. The truth is that until just before the trip the products we had exported had still not arrived in Thailand, so I had these ready in case of the worst. The day before I left, word came from the company in Thailand that the products had arrived, so in the end the ones I carried were never called for. And so today I sent them back to head office. Ten kilos for about eight minutes. It really was heavy.
