Today’s story きょうの あらすじ

Near my office, there's a Thai restaurant that always has a line. It's only open at weekday lunchtime and on Friday nights. Friday nights are fully booked until the end of the year, and at weekday lunchtime there's a long line too. I'd been wanting to try that place for a long time, and I was finally able to go. When I went today, there were about 30 people lined up in front of the restaurant. However, many of them were getting takeout and not eating in, so I only had to wait about 10 minutes to get inside. The food there had plenty of chili peppers in it, and it tasted like the Thai food you eat in Thailand. No wonder it was once featured in a special on hugely popular restaurants with long lines. I think I'll go again.
