Today’s story きょうの あらすじ

Yesterday, there was a fireworks festival. Since we could see the fireworks from my friend's house, I visited and had a great time. The fireworks were beautiful, of course, but what I really enjoyed was the deep time spent with new people I met. There was someone from Kazakhstan, and I listened to them talk about their country and racial perspectives. A dentist was also there, so we talked about the current state of dentists in Japan and the medical situation in Kazakhstan. It was a rich time with broad and deep interactions. As a souvenir, I received something called samsa, which is like a Kazakh bread stuffed with meat and vegetables. It was packed with umami and very delicious.
