Today’s story

I don't dislike cooking, but I don't cook much these days. Cooking itself is really fun, and that's why I want to enjoy it leisurely without being rushed by time. But when I cook with that mindset, I suddenly realize a lot of time has passed. Eating is over in no time, and cleaning up involves washing dishes and tidying up the kitchen. Now I have so many things I want to do, like reading books and walking, so I feel it's a waste to spend time cooking. On weekdays I go to work, and weekends are just Saturday and Sunday. With limited time, just cleaning and doing laundry fills up my days. I plan to enjoy cooking slowly once I retire and have more free time.
