Today’s story きょうの あらすじ

I stayed overnight for work yesterday and the day before. This time, I stayed at the hotel I always use, but I was surprised when I entered the room. The complimentary bottled water that's usually there wasn't there. After checking in, I wanted to take my medicine right away, so I looked for water, but there was none anywhere. I thought it was strange, so I called the front desk to ask. Then I was told that the hotel's system had changed and the complimentary water service was no longer available. Since it's a large hotel, I have to walk quite a bit to the nearest convenience store. If I had known in advance, I could have bought some before checking in, so I wish they had told me at check-in.
