Tacos in the Park on a Perfect Day

Today’s story きょうの あらすじ

Since I work at the office from Monday to Friday, days when I can relax in the park in nice weather are very precious to me. Saturday and Sunday come around every week, but the weather isn't always perfect for enjoying the park. Summer is too hot, winter is too cold, and there are also days when it rains, or when it's so humid that being outside is uncomfortable. So on pleasant days like today, when good weather alone makes me feel happy, I want to spend as much time as I can out in the fresh air. For lunch today, I bought tacos at a place called Taco Bell and ate them in the park. I thought, "What a happy time this is," and felt grateful for an ordinary day. It's wonderful to be able to feel happy like this, isn't it?
