With hay fever season finally easing, I hung my laundry out on the balcony for the first time in months. Such a small thing, yet drying clothes under the sun filled me with simple gratitude.

今朝、久しぶりに洗濯物をベランダに干しました。私はひどい花粉症なので、花粉が飛び始めると洗濯物を外に干すことができなくなります。それどころか、この1ヵ月半から2ヶ月位の間は窓も閉めっぱなしで、部屋の空気を入れ替えることもできませんでした。

けさ、ひさしぶりにせんたくものをべらんだにほしました。わたしはひどいかふんしょうなので、かふんがとびはじめると、せんたくものをそとにほすことができなくなります。それどころか、このいっかげつはんからにかげつぐらいのあいだは、まどもじめっぱなしで、へやのくうきをいれかえることもできませんでした。
