I came home exhausted from work — and straight into battle with a buzzing bug in the entryway. Thirty minutes of swinging an umbrella, then the doormat, finally sent it out over the balcony, leaving me more worn out than the workday itself.

仕事で疲れて家に帰って、玄関から入った途端、事件が起こりました。突然、ブーンという音がして、小さい虫が玄関の中を飛び回り始めたんです。何を隠そう、私は虫が大の苦手です。どうしたらいいかわからなくて、とりあえず、その虫を部屋の中に入れちゃだめだ、玄関で退治しなくちゃと、思いました。

しごとでつかれていえにかえって、げんかんからはいったとたん、じけんがおこりました。とつぜん、ぶーんというおとがして、ちいさいむしがげんかんのなかをとびまわりはじめたんです。なにをかくそう、わたしはむしがだいのにがてです。どうしたらいいかわからなくて、とりあえず、そのむしをへやのなかにいれちゃだめだ、げんかんでたいじしなくちゃとおもいました。
