The dark spots on my shin I had written off as sun damage turned out to be purpura, a skin condition involving the blood vessels. A modeling job demonstrating sunscreen sent me to the dermatologist just in time — an unexpected nudge I am grateful for.

いちねんはんくらいまえから、あしのすねにあかぐろいてんてんができはじめました。わかいころにひやけをたくさんしていたので、としをとったいま、しみとしてでてきたんだとおもっていました。そんなにきにせず、ふえてきたられーざーでとればいいやとおもってほうちしていたんです。せんしゅう、もでるのあるばいとでひやけどめをぬるでもんすとれーたーをするしごとのれんらくをもらったので、「あら、たいへん!」と、まずは、ひふかにいってみました。
