Today’s story きょうの あらすじ
Last week I bought a dress I absolutely loved, and it has been waiting in the closet for the rainy season to end. Yesterday I passed the shop and saw it — the very same dress, half price, one week later. It stung, but holding out for a sale often means it sells out first, and finding a dress in your color, your shape, and exactly what you want right now is rare enough that I am telling myself it was worth it.

先週、すごくかわいいワンピースを買いました。着るのを楽しみにしているんですが、梅雨の真っ只中の今、まだ出番がなくてクローゼットで眠っています。昨日、たまたま通りかかったお店で、あまりにもショックな出来事がありました。なんと、たった1週間前に買ったばかりのそのワンピースが、セールで半額になっていたんです。
