Yesterday I went back to my usual Thai restaurant and, precisely because it was so hot, ordered piping hot tom yum goong noodles. Shrimp richness, chili heat, the sourness of lemongrass — the only Asian entry among the world's three great soups, and it deserves the title. It blew away the heat and humidity completely, and I am already looking forward to deciding what to have next time.
