It has grown noticeably hot, so I no longer walk to a cafe on weekend mornings — I grind the beans and brew at home instead. I have just come back from my walk and showered off the sweat, and heading straight out to work up another is the last thing I want. A proper hand mill would be nice, but I cannot be bothered, so I grind roughly with an electric one and it still makes excellent coffee. All that is missing is cake; there is none in the house, so ice cream it is.
