I had heatstroke last Sunday and still felt a little off, but I was back at work on Monday, and at last it is Friday; this week has felt especially long. A two-day weekend is taken for granted now, but Saturday was once a workday too and people had one day off a week. My father worked in that era, which I find remarkable. Every Friday I think how tired I am; one day off is unimaginable to me. The economy is poor and prices are high, and even so I am glad to have been born into this age.
