My AC Is Either Too Cold or Too Hot

Today’s story きょうの あらすじ
In the middle of this heat, my air conditioner is not behaving. I want a temperature that is not too cold and does not chill me through, but at 26 or 27 degrees the air turns muggy and I cannot tell whether the unit is running at all. So I have it at 25 now, and at 25 it is cold. The temperature setting and I are simply not getting along. Ours is a little old, so it may be about time to replace it; once this summer is over, I plan to change it for a new one.
