I changed my phone from an iPhone 14 Pro to an iPhone 17 Pro. I have used iPhones for years, and moving house from one phone to the next has become so simple that it was over in no time. What was hard came afterward. These days everything can be finished on the phone, banking and payments included, and in exchange those apps are locked twice and three times over. When I tried to log in from the new handset, a message said I could not log in from this device: I had to release the login on the old handset and file notice of the model change. Repeating that authentication over and over was truly exhausting. In the end it was past ten at night before the whole move was done. Without a phone that works properly I cannot take a train or buy anything, so I never want to replace a phone again.
