My Friend Is Moving to Korea at 35

Today’s story きょうの あらすじ

The day before yesterday I met a friend after a long interval, and she filled me with positive energy. I first met her about two and a half years ago, and since then we see each other once every few months. Each time she asks me something: do you know a place with good energy, or, I want to study money, is there a good book. So I have always felt she is someone who wants to better herself. This time, the moment we met, a very bright air came across. She told me she will study at a university in Korea from next month. Her expression was clear, her face full of hope. The resolve of someone deciding in her mid-thirties to study abroad is wonderful. Any age is fine, she seemed to say, and the courage she gave me left me happy as well.
