One of the Japanese foods I love is soba. When people hear of a soba shop, I think most of them imagine you eat your soba and that is that; in fact a soba shop is a drinking place. The other day, after standing and drinking at Oimachi Tracks, we decided that this time we would sit down and drink slowly, and went to a soba shop. We had sake and small dishes, finished with cold soba to round the evening off, and a happy time came to its end. My friend and I agreed that a quick drink at a soba shop is rather a fine idea, so next time it looks as though our drinking party will be at a soba shop.
