Today’s story

This happened this morning while I was hanging out the laundry. When I went to hang up the socks I wore yesterday, to my surprise, the right and left socks were different. One was white with black polka dots, and the other was white lace. Since I do laundry every day, it means the socks I was wearing yesterday were definitely mismatched. I didn't notice at all, not when I put them on yesterday morning and not when I took them off at night, and only just now, when I was hanging them up, did I finally notice. Yesterday I went shopping, and I took my shoes off and put them back on again and again to try on clothes. On top of that, I talked a lot with the shop staff while still wearing those mismatched socks, so looking back on it now, I'm really embarrassed.
